Dubai Car Prices are recognised as some of the cheapest in the world. Low tax and import duties and a thriving demand for automobiles ensure a high turnover and lively market for second hand cars. The wealth of the area also means a good supply of exotic and luxury brands. Don't think that standards are low because of the cheap price of used cars,
for example, a local Mercedes used car dealer confirms that second owner Mercedes
bought from them are serviced to Mercedes-Benz global standards and come with
a one-year parts and service guarantee. Past years have seen 30 Lexus given away. One year 30 Rolls-Royces were given away. As the winners usually cannot afford to run or service these automobiles the price is temporarily depressed as the new car owners try to sell these vehicles in the local newspapers. Dubai Municipality constructed the 14.3 hectares Dubai Used Car Complex, next to the Dubai Automobile Freezone, to support the growing used cars trade. The Dubai used car complex includes 126 car showrooms and a car testing facility. It is open daily until 11pm, and each Wednesday between 6:00pm and 9:00pm.there is a used car auction. All cars are tested before sale. Dubai Used Car Complex is next door to the Dubai Automobile Free Zone which deals in the distribution of automobiles into the local market and the re-export of cars to India, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen and African countries. |
